Smart Lecture Halls
Spacious, well-furnished, and air-conditioned lecture halls provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions as well as create the right atmosphere for long hours of learning. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented by audio-visual teaching aids for lectures, presentations, seminars, etc.
Hi-Tech Computing Facilities
DGIT offers state-of-the-art computing facilities in terms of Internet and Campus Networking to create and maintain a healthy environment for the pursuit of academic excellence and quality management. The entire campus is WI- FI and all the DGIT students can have free unlimited access to computers and the internet. The Computer Centre of DGIT caters to the needs of academic departments and various sections of the institute. The Computer Centre, housed in a spacious building is well equipped with the latest machines viz. HP and DELL machines, etc. A heterogeneous Intranet Network of around 100 nodes under different OS like Linux, and Windows is set up and maintained regularly. The Centre has a dedicated 2 Mbps leased line. It provides Internet facilities to the users in all the departments, Central Library, faculty rooms and offices. The same facility has also been extended to student hostels etc.
Central Library
DGIT boasts of a well-stocked air-conditioned digital Centralized Library with the latest books, journals, magazines, e-books, etc. in addition to membership in online libraries. DGIT Library has a unique collection of books and periodicals and the dedicated staff is always available to provide information and details to young learners. Computerized cataloging facilitates students with quick and thorough access to various books and the latest journals. A wide range of subjects is covered under the audiovisual facilities available in the library. The Institute’s computer network offers access to the Internet, networked CD-ROMs, and other electronic databases. In addition, there are multimedia workstations and a vast collection of interactive CD-ROMs.
Sports Facilities
The industry today seeks not just knowledge workers, but action oriented leaders who adapt to changing situations with ease. At DGIT, the infrastructure has been designed with exceptional facilities for sports as well as recreational activities to ensure all round development of the learners. The institutions have infrastructural facilities for indoor and outdoor sports such as cricket, athletics, table tennis, badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi etc.
Book Bank Scheme
Each student needs at least one textbook for each subject in all eight semesters. This is an expensive proposition; moreover, students face a lot of problems in collecting these books. To reduce the burden DGIT has the scheme of Book-Bank for the students. Under this scheme, students are issued one set of books for a period of one year/semester.
Transport
DGIT provide transport facility to their students, faculty and staff through a fleet of fully air-conditioned deluxe buses connecting almost all major nearby areas of the region – Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, Delhi, Gurgaon and jhajjar etc.
Medical Care Center
A wide range of health & welfare services are available at DGIT Campus. The institute has- an equipped dispensary for first aid and minor medical services where an experienced and qualified doctor and nursing staff offer guidance and support on any health problem affecting students and staff. The students also have access to the services of specialists available on call along with an ambulance for any emergency 24 hours.
Conference & Seminar Halls
Fully equipped, state-of-the-art air-conditioned conference halls with a seating capacity of 20-25 peoples is a part and parcel of the ultra-modern infrastructure at DGIT. The Halls are well furnished with the latest audio-visual aids and presentation tools to facilitate smooth presentations, demonstrations, seminars, discussions, meetings, etc.
High Tech. Labs
In the age of innovative technology, no institution wants to stay behind in offering the best technological facilities. DGIT is no exception as it offers the students, a world class access to the technologies. There are three well-equipped labs in the university. The labs are situated as such with one lab in each block with 24*7 wifi availability of 35 Mbps internet connectivity. The campus has the fiber optic based inter block connectivity across the Hostels and campus areas.
