Admission Process / Procedure

The admission for 75% of the sanctioned seats to B.Tech (Four Year Course), and B.Tech (Three Year Course through the Lateral Engineering Entry Scheme), are made by the Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS, Chandigarh www.hscs.org), through On-line Off-Campus Counseling at www.tehadmissions.gov.in. The admissions to the remaining 25% seats are made by the institution as per guidelines issued from time to time by HSCS/ Haryana Govt.

Admission Eligibility

M.Tech. (CSE)

B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Science & Engineering /Computer Engineering/Information Technology /Electronics & Communication Engineering /Electronics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or M.Sc. (Computer Science /IT /Software) or M.Sc. (Maths.) or M.Sc. (Physics) with at least 50% (45% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana only) marks in aggregate alongwith valid GATE score in Computer Science & Engineering/IT. ii. If GATE-qualified candidates are not available, the remaining seats will be filled up by the candidates having qualifications as prescribed under (i) above without GATE score on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the Qualifying examination.

M.Tech. (CSE)

B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Science & Engineering /Computer Engineering/Information Technology /Electronics & Communication Engineering /Electronics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or M.Sc. M.Tech. (ECE)

First preference in the order: B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Telecom Engineering/ Electronics Engineering with 50% (45% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana only) marks in aggregate along with valid GATE score. ii. Second preference in the order: 

(a) B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Control Engineering with 50% (45% marks for SC/ ST candidates of Haryana only) marks in aggregate; (b) Biomedical Engineering/ Mechatronics with 50% marks in aggregate along with valid GATE score. iii. Third preference in the order: (a) M.Sc. (Electronics) with 50% (45% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana only) marks in aggregate; 

(b) M.Sc (Physics with specialization in Electronics) with 50% marks in aggregate with valid GATE score in Electronics & Comm. Engineering/Electronics Engineering. iv. If valid GATE score qualified candidates are not available, then the remaining vacant seats will be open to the other than GATE-qualified candidates and shall be filled on the basis of merit of aggregative marks of qualifying degree as mentioned above with the same order of preference

M.Tech. (ME)

B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering Thermal Power Engineering /Automobile Engineering /Robotics Engineering /CAD /Mechatronics /Aeronautical Engineering/Industrial Engineering with 50% (45% marks for SC/ ST candidates of Haryana only) in aggregate alongwith valid GATE score. If valid GATE score qualified candidates are not available, then remaining vacant seats will be open to the other than GATE qualified candidates and shall be filled on the basis of merit of aggregative marks of qualifying degree as mentioned above with same order of preference.

B.Tech. (CSE, ME, ECE, CE, IT)

The admissions will be made on the basis of the rank obtained in the JEE( Main)Exam conducted by Joint Apex Board of CBSE, New Delhi through On-Line Off-Campus counseling by NIC & Institutional level Admission/Counseling as per guidelines of State Admission Committee.

Admission to 75% seats of B.Tech will be made by HSCS through NIC (Policy as enunciated by State Govt)
Admission to 25% seats are made by Institutional Level Admission Committee (including 15% seats if any for children/wards of NRIs)

B.B.A

Senior Secondary Examination (XII) of Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani with 45% marks in aggregate or an equivalent examination recognized by MDU, Rohtak. 

OR 

Three years of diploma courses conducted by the State Board of Technical Education or any other examination recognized by the State Board of Technical Education as equivalent thereto.

B.C.A.

Senior Secondary Examination (XII) of Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani with 45% marks in aggregate or an equivalent examination recognised by MDU, Rohtak. OR

Three years diploma course conducted by State Board of Technical Education or any other examination recognized by the State Board of Technical Education as equivalent thereto.

Diploma

Diploma In Engineering (Three Years)

Eligibility:

Pass in 10th Examination with at least 35%marks from the Board of School Education, Haryana, or equivalent examination from a recognized board /University.

Diploma In Engineering For LEET Admissions:

ITI of at least two-year duration or 10+2 with PCM or 10+2 vocational. under the TFW scheme) / Diploma engineering, 

Lateral entry shall be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of DET-2014/DEL(L) 2014 respectively through on-line off-campus counseling by NIC.

DGIT Scholarship Programme

In order to promote academic excellence, meritorious students seeking admission to DGIT are awarded the Delhi Global Institute of Technology Scholarship. Scholarship will not be continued if the scholar does not secure at least 80% marks in the following year.

Criteria of Scholarship:

95% and above - 100% tuition fee free

90% to 94% - 50% tuition fee free

85% to 89% - 25% tuition fee free

80% to 84% - 10% tuition fee free

Apart from the above-mentioned scholarships the meritorious students who performed well and got top ranks in the University Examinations, are also awarded with the scholarship as per their secured percentage.

Document Retention Policy

“As per AICTE norms, our institute is not retaining any original certificate for the entire course from the students. Only the photocopies of the documents are submitted by the students at the time of admission for academic/college records”.
