Duration- 2 years
Eligibility :
• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% (45% for candidates of Haryana) marks in aggregate along with a valid GATE score.
Note : (I) Candidates with a Master of Computer Application (MCA) or M.Sc.
(Computer Science / IT / Software) or M.Sc. ( Maths) or M.Sc. (Physics) are eligible to seek admissions under Post Graduate Program only for M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering.
(II) Candidates with M.Sc. (Physics) are eligible to seek admissions under Post Graduate Program only for M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering
Note: Admission to M.Tech. program will be as per the guidelines of the University.
M.Tech Procedure
A merit list of the eligible candidates will be made based on their valid and qualified GATE score only (i.e. 100% weightage to the GATE score and no weightage to the qualifying degree marks) as the seats will first be filled by valid GATE-qualified candidates and the remaining vacant seats, if any, shall be offered to other candidates based on their marks or CGPA in the qualifying examination as per Eligibility for admission,
• Candidates who are finally selected for admission will be required to deposit two attested photocopies of all the required certificates.
• Faculty can also take admission in the Second Shift/Evening shift.
• Industry Sponsored Candidates must have at least two years of working experience in relevant fields.
• The selected candidates will have to submit a “Migration Certificate” within one month of his/her admission, from the University/Institute last attended.
• The Head of the respective Department will be the Chairman of the Admission Committee for admission. The decision of the Director in all matters relating to admission shall be final.
